Hi.

Welcome to Scott’s blog.

I write about luxury family travel, 5-star hotel reviews, startup businesses and entrepreneurship. But I also blog about anything that interests me, including Tottenham Hotspur.

British Airways First Class Lounge, London Heathrow Terminal 3

British Airways First Class Lounge, London Heathrow Terminal 3

British Airways has a global network of BA branded lounges and third party lounges for their premium passengers.

I used the Galleries First lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 3 when flying to Barcelona. I usually fly from Terminal 5 so this was my first time in the T3 lounge.

Entry criteria

The Galleries lounge is for business class (Club World/Club Europe) passengers and silver cardholders of the British Airways Executive Club, also know as BAEC.

The Galleries First lounge is for gold members travelling in any cabin and also passengers flying First Class or FIRST as BA call it.

There is no Concorde Room (T5 and JFK have one) so First Class passengers use the Galleries First lounge in Terminal 3.

Eat

For breakfast, the lounge had a well stocked buffet of pastries and full English breakfast, along with ketchup, brown sauce and an array of jams.

For those of us with a sweet tooth, BA offer a selection of three different cookies.

Drink

One attraction of the BA First Class lounges is the unlimited supply of Champagne, and Terminal 3 did not disappoint, with Champagne bottles ready for visitor to help themselves.

Rest

The lounge was a good size with two or three different seating configurations for people to rest which waiting for their flights or connection.

Kids

I didn’t go inside but there is a dedicated area for kids, separated off by some glass so we can see them but note hear them.

Work

At one end of the lounge, away from the hustle and bustle food and drinks area, you’ll find a quieter section with work spaces including plenty of power.

And more

There was also an Elemis Spa and a Galleries lounge (for business class passengers)
